Hi Amy! It's not really a secret, don't we all wish there was some kind of magic trick? Ha! Basically one day when our little was a month or so old he and I had had a rough day nursing. Being a new mom I was really nervous he wasn't getting enough food, so when my husband got home I asked him to feed him a bottle of breast milk and I just pumped. Well it was guaranteed he got like 4 oz or something and he slept the longest span through the night we had seen yet. From that point forward we fed him a bottle of breast milk every night and he continued to sleep through the night. This of course was after he had gained all his weight back from birth. It was nice for my husband because he felt he could be a part of things a little more and it was nice for me because I felt like I got a break. So that's all. I guess it works for some babies though! I hope it works for yours if you try it :-) And thanks for visiting the blog. I hope you are well!

Visiting for the first time from Five Minute Friday...
I love your closing comment: "So while now the stretching is hard, and I’m not quite as nimble as I’d like to be, if one day the stretching will lead to a fluid and flexible beauty, I’ll embrace the stretching now." Beautiful! May it be the prayer for all of us.
Happy FMF!

Hi Lindsey! So nice to meet you through Five Minute Friday!

I can SO relate to this post -- the blowout, the "toes as fingers", working from home and even loving on a little boy named Will! My Will just started kindergarten on Monday! Yes, God will always stretch you, but always for your betterment and His glory. So glad you've rejoined 5MF! :)
